During the month of April, we were busy learning Irish poems and songs in preparation for Armagh and Newry Feis.Well done to the children, who took part and who won medals and certificates.
In literacy and World Around Us we completed lots of creative writing on our topic “Blue Planet”. We concentrated on figurative language. We made poems about the Moon and Living in a Plastic World. We also created posters encouraging people to stop plastic pollution and completed fact files on Oceans and Sea Creatures. In Numeracy we worked on money and fractions.
Well done to all the children especially our Pupils of the Week.
