Primary 2

In P2, children build on the learning from Primary 1 and continue to grow in confidence as they explore and apply their skills in lots of exciting ways. We offer a wide range of fun and challenging activities that help develop thinking, personal, and social skills.

Children learn across all areas of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, including Language and Literacy, Mathematics and Numeracy, World Around Us, PDMU, Physical Education, and The Arts. Learning takes place both in the classroom and in our fantastic outdoor spaces, helping children develop key skills in a variety of settings.

Play-Based Learning is a big part of Primary 2. Through meaningful and imaginative play, children become creative and curious thinkers, learning to solve problems and work with others in a way that’s both fun and educational.
