It's hard to believe that we have come to the end of Term 2b. This week saw a big push by lots of pupils to reach their AR targets before the end of term. Congratulations to the following pupils who have reached their Accelerated Reader target in Term 2b:
- Primary 4: Jack Connell & Ellen Duffy (2nd).
- Primary 5: Maya Rushe, Cillian McShane (4th) & Darragh Murphy (3rd).
- Primary 6: Sean McCreesh.
- Primary 7: Ethan Rushe (1st, 2nd & 3rd - lots of reading done this week).

All new AR Targets will be set after the Easter break, so keep up the reading & be ready to quiz from Monday 20th April. Also check out the NI Libraries 'Easter Reading Challenge' for some inspiration.
Accelerated Reader Trophy
That last minute push for targets saw an increase in the number of books read this week with a total of 80 books being quizzed on. The quizzing accuracy is still of a high standard & well done to everyone who helped their class achieve over 90%. Congratulations to Primary 6 who have retained the AR Trophy this week, it's such a pity we aren't in school to hear your class roar in celebration, Mrs McMahon is DELIGHTED! Check out this week's results below:
- Primary 4: 20 Books : 91.1%
- Primary 5: 26 Books : 92.3%
- Primary 6: 26 Books : 96.5%
- Primary 7: 7 Books : 92.1%
Term 2b has been a great success for AR with a total of 726 books being read from Primary 4-7 & we look forward to Term 3 being just, if not more successful. Check out our word count for this school year...so far!
