A busy month in P7 comes to a close! In April we began the Irish News Young News Readers project. Each week we receive a copy of the Irish News each and investigate how articles are put together to engage the reader. We also enjoyed playing with a range of toys from years ago through an intergenerational community project facilitated by the WALD center in Cullyhanna. However, the biggest event in April was undoubtedly when we received the sacrament of Confirmation. It was a beautiful celebration led by Bishop Michael Router, with all of our class conducting themselves superbly. Back in school on Monday, we enjoyed a party laid on by the fabulous Friends of Cullyhanna Primary School, it was a brilliant day and we are very thankful for this display of generosity.
