During April the choir worked particularly hard with Mrs. Ziegesloo and Mrs. Allen in preparation for Warrenpoint and Newry Feis and they were successful in both. Well done all! They also contributed to both the Confirmation and First Holy Communion Services where they sang beautifully.
We had an excellent programme ‘Choices and Changes’ delivered to us by ‘Love for Life.’ It reminded us of our uniqueness, value and worth as well as highlighting the importance of thinking through decisions.
We are enjoying learning about ‘The Titanic.’ We have researched information about the disaster, created portholes showing the iceberg in the night sky and drew symmetrical pictures of the great ship.
Congratulations to Cian Donnelly who was the first pupil within the school to receive ‘The Legend’ certificate in Mathletics. A fantastic achievement! Well done to all other pupils, who received pupil of the week, Accelerated Reader and Mathletics certificates. A special mention for Grace Murray who is our newest Word Millionaire in P6- who will be next?
