The Armagh Rhymers visited the school as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge 2022 promotion. The Rhymers brought their usual flair, music and costume to perform the story of Fionn and the Giant for our school. There was plenty of craic agus ceol and plenty of our pupils were involved in the show. The Rhymers even made a stop at our Nursery to entertain the pupils in their playground. We were delighted to be the first school the Rhymers have visited since they started school touring again. Our school has a strong tradition of promoting the Irish language and in partnership with St Patrick’s GFC we have enhanced our commitment to keep this strong school tradition going. We thank St Patrick’s for their sponsorship of the Rhymers visit today.
