This week the children were learning about the importance of water in our World. In Religion they were asked to talk about their own Baptisms with their parents and learn the reason why the priest pours Holy Water over a baby's head during the ceremony. Adam Quigley has sent in a lovely photograph of his family's special day. Adam has also been working really hard at his homework activities and gets all the work done early in the morning so that he can spend time playing outside. Adam has been helping his Daddy on the farm and i'm sure takes all his responsibilities very seriously. Well Done Adam.
Annie Garvey is in the next Baptism picture, looking lovely in a white christening dress. White is a sign of purity and cleanliness.
Darragh Loye is the next baby. He is alo wearing white and his Godparents lit a candle during the ceremony to symbolise God's light in our world and the beginning of Darragh's acceptance into the catholic family of the church.
