February in P7 draws to a close and Spring is on the horizon! What a busy month we have had, with lots of active and fun learning taking place. In numeracy, we continued to focus on problem solving; applying the eight different strategies to solve problems which we have learned about during individual and group problem solving lessons. We also took part in a live Izak9 session with schools across Ireland, this was great fun! In literacy, we have been making great use of our new guided reading materials, completing activities on our new class novels which we selected. One student even reached the total of 3,000,000 words read this year, WOW! To mark Saint Brigid's Day, we made Saint Brigid's crosses, thank you to Anne for leading this.
