This month the children had lots of opportunities to act out being different ‘People who help us.’ They dressed up as doctors, nurses, firemen and postmen and acted out all the ways these important people help us in our everyday lives. We had a visit from a real nurse who gave the children an insight into the world of nursing. Some of the children talked to people who help us around our school including the principal,the cooks and the secretaries in our school office.
During the season of Lent the children have been thinking about ways to Share. We learned about sharing our kind words with others and helping out at home especially during Lent. We made pancakes and got ashes from Canon Toner.
