Our pupils have once again excelled in March with lots of pupils winning the Pupil of the Week award for a great variety of reasons. Some of our winners this month were rewarded for great effort in class, good manners and excelling in Mathletics to name just a few. Well done to all our new Gold Certificate winners in Reading Eggs and Mathletics. In Accelerated Reader we were proud to admit 3 more pupils to the Word Millionaire club. Frances in P4, Caitlin in P6 and Joe in P7 joined the exclusive club. They join Niamh in P7 and Ella in P6 to make it 5 members in total. A special word of congratulations to Blinne P7 and Dallan in P5 who became county champions in the Scor na Og in March. The pupils were part of the St Patrick’s GFC Novelty act which claimed the County title and then went on to represent Armagh at the Ulster final were they were pipped to the provincial crown by Antrim. There is no doubt these two talented performers will not stop at County titles and will have Ulster and All Ireland’s in their sights in the future.
