During the month of May we learned and prayed different prayers to Mary. We made a May altar and coloured different images of Mary. We listened to the story of Bernadette of Lourdes.
We continued to enjoy our extra PE lessons each week. Charmaine, camogie coach from St. Patrick’s Cullyhanna GFC, has been developing the girls’ camogie skills. We also have Ciaran McKeever, local GAA coach and Armagh coaching officer, working with boys and girls to develop their football skills. Well done to the P6 boys who participated in the St. Colman’s College Blitz. The boys made it to the final but unfortunately they lost to penalties after extra time! Huge congratulations to Charlie McCreesh who was chosen as player of the tournament.
We had a great time taking part in the school’s annual sponsored walk around St. Patrick’s football field. Thank you to all who donated.
Well done to all pupils who received Pupil of the Week, Mathletics certificates, AR certificates and to our new ‘Word Millionaire’ – Cillian Conlon. Special mention to Grace Murray who has hit her target for the 7th time this term.
