This month we did lots of learning about Spring, baby animals and the World Around Us. We read lots of stories and made foods which we tasted for the first time. We learned about caterpillars and watched them grow. We went into our school gardens and learned about mud, insects and made mud cakes for our Cafe. Some of the children used our outdoor funnels and water to experiment with flows and things that float. In maths we counted Noah's animals into pairs and we learned how to use ordinal numbers when writing instructions. The children asked enquiring questions and learned so much from playing in our new mud kitchen with the other classes.
