On Friday 30th April our whole school came together for a joyous occasion when we held a special ring the bell event for Jack Tynan in P2. Mighty Jack T finished his 1232 day long treatment for leukaemia and he got to ring the bell in the Royal Victoria Hospital Cancer care unit for children. On Friday, Jack rang our school bell whilst we all cheered and popped balloons on our school pitch. Mr Quinn and Jack also planted a tree to always remind us of this happy day and to remind us of Jack’s bravery. We are all so proud of mighty Jack and his constant happy and cheery nature throughout his treatment was an inspiration to us all. Thank you to all the parents who sent in donations to the RVH cancer care unit for children. So far we have raised close to £1000!!! A huge thank you also to Valueland in Crossmaglen who provided the balloons for the occasion.
