Happy New Year .
During January, we had a busy month preparing and celebrating - St. Patrick’s Club in Cullyhanna are now Intermediate Club Champions. Congratulations and well done to all the players, management and back ground staff that work so hard all year.
This month In Literacy we are learning about imaginary stories and how to use adjectives and similes to make a story more interesting and exciting.
In Numeracy we worked on Multiplication and Division facts. We also looked at clocks and covered Analogue and Digital time.
In World Around Us we are learning about the Egyptians and can’t wait to go on our school trip. This is an interesting topic as there is so much to learn about the Ancient Egyptians.
We had a PE lesson with Shane O’Neill’s sportswoman and footballer Aimee Mackin. We really enjoyed PE with her and is a great role model for girls in our area.
