It has been another busy month in Primary 4.
We had 'Anti-Bullying Week' and enjoyed lots of activities, including a 'Respect' game and creating our posters for the art competition.
We continued our topic of 'School Long Ago' and had a visit from Una Walsh, who told us lots of wonderful stories about what it was like when she was at school. She showed us an old school photograph, which was almost 100 years old. We chatted about how school has changed and the things that are still the same. We also got to try some cursive writing...it wasn't easy.
Our class have been BRILLIANT at Accelerated Reader from the start of the year and our hard work was rewarded when we won the 'Accelerated Reader Cup' for the second month in a row. This meant we got a trip to the park, which we REALLY enjoyed.
Another busy month awaits and we are looking forward to all the new and exciting things we get to learn and do.
