October in P.2: A month to remember 🎃
This month has been very busy in P.2. At the beginning of the month we celebrated World Rosary day. We made our own single decade rosary beads and practiced how to say the rosary.
We continued our Autumn learning by going on an Autumn walk. It was a beautiful sunny day. We discussed the five senses and what different kind of things we can see, hear and smell during Autumn. We then took turns to discover new smells such as pumpkin, cinnamon and even got to taste marshmallows! This helped us to write an Autumn poem based on our senses.
This week, we were very excited to welcome some Armagh players to our school. We all dressed in orange and sang lots of songs as the Sam Maguire was coming into school. We were delighted to get to celebrate the All-Ireland victory for a second time!
We had a well-deserved end to a busy first half-term. On Thursday, we made chocolate apples and on Friday we had a Halloween party!!! Maith sibh to all the girls and boys for all their hard-work. Stay safe over the half term break! 😊
