This month the children had lots of experience of learning about ‘Our Senses’. We went on an Autumn walk around our local village. The children had a visit from the Primary Seven pupils who got involved in our Shape maths topic playing games and helping the children name numbers and shapes. We did lots of Halloween activities including making bats, spiders and slimy gloop. Una Walsh a local historian visited the class and talked to the children about her own school experiences. The children enjoyed using their 5 senses to smell, taste, touch,look and listen to things around us in God’s world in Autumn. We look forward to Halloween and keeping safe around fireworks too.
