Primary 1/2 have been learning about Fairy Tales especially Little Red Riding Hood this month. They made masks and acted out the story in the home corner. They also read lots of different versions and learned about the different endings to the story.
In Maths they have been learning addition to 10 and 3D shapes.
In PE they have been doing gymnastics with Karl McQuaid and really enjoying all aspects of PE especially the bars and ropes.
During anti bullying week we focused on ways we could be kind in the class. Massive congratulations to Niamh Reel, Ryan Farrell Carroll and Roise McCreesh who were our three winners in the anti bullying competition and got prizes from Mr Quinn.
We had visitors into the school with the Atty Hearty cup that the St Patrick’s team won on the county final. We wish the boys continued success in the ulster final especially Barry McConville (Brendan’s dad) and Paudie Mackin (Raena’s dad) and the entire team and management.
