In February we continued learning about Birds. We made Binnoculars, bird houses and bird feeders. Ciara from P7 helped us make bird feeders from oranges and bird seed. We hung the bird feeders outside and then with the help of our binnoculars we took part in Big Schools Bird Watch by counting all the birds we could see. We took home the wooden bird feeders we made. Good luck with counting all the birds that come to it in your own garden!!
We were thrilled and delighted that some of the St Patrick’s football team came into the class with the three cups, the County cup, the Ulster cup and the All Ireland cup. We were able to get pictures with them and get our jerseys signed. It was very much appreciated. Up the Pats😊
