Congratulations to all the boys and girls who were out trying to catch a butterfly but it was our own Mrs McMahon who won the race and caught the first one!! I wonder what the prize will be!!!
I was in school this week and although it seems very strange to be there without the buzz of all the boys and girls I noticed all the window boxes were in full bloom and I took some of the pictures. Please show these to the kids. Michael McElroy made the boxes but each child got to paint and decorate them and fill them with bulbs and seeds which are now blossoming on all the P2 windows. He worked with other classes too but I only took photos of P2.
Pupils of the week are Charlie McCreesh and Colm Reel for all their hard work finding 3D shapes in their environment. Connie McCreesh for colouring in a lovely picture of Mary and being kind to her sister Olivia. Grace for making a lovely clock and working hard on all her work. Abbie Donnelly for working hard on her school work, being kind to her brother and helping on the farm. Ella Rose Garvey for helping on the farm and looking after her horse Bobby. Also a big Happy Birthday to Francis McCreesh who celebrated his 6th Birthday, I hope you had a good day Francis.
Finally Lucy's mum tells me that Lucy also is working hard and loves being on big sister duties!!
