P.2/P.3 have worked extremely hard this month. In our literacy lessons we read the story Little Red Riding Hood. We put the story in the correct order and wrote our own versions of the story. We learnt how to use adjectives to describe the different characters in the story.
In numeracy we learnt about the number stories to 14 and 15. We counted all the way up to 100 and we know how to put numbers in the correct order from the smallest number to the biggest number. We also made bar graphs and learnt how to read them.
In World Around Us we have been learning about life cycles. We learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly and we created the life cycle of a butterfly using different types of pasta. We found out that butterflies use their feet to taste!
We loved taking part in our lovely art lessons. We painted the characters in Little Red Riding Hood and made some scary wolf masks.
