We loved celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day during March. We said a poem called ‘Foscail an Dorais’ and sang a song ‘Teidí Beag Álainn’ as Gaeilge (in Irish) for our school Green Day Assembly. We enjoyed dressing up in our green clothes.
We decorated stained glass Saint Patrick’s windows and displayed them on our class windows like our local chapel Saint Patrick’s Church Cullyhanna.
We made beautiful bunny wreaths and painted easter eggs for the Easter season. We visited our chapel to see the Stations of the Cross.
