P4 - Star Pupils - 01/05/20
It seems that everyone has settled into home learning exceptionally well & I LOVE to see all your wonderful work & photographs each week. This week we’ve had everything from baking to bronze Mathletics certificates and bird research to best friend video calls.
Denver, Mae, Ella Mu & Caela were all busy in the kitchen this week with homemade pizzas, butterfly cupcakes, mint-aero cheesecakes & pancakes – they all look delicious.
Freya, Senan, Caela & Ella Mu have been busy completing this week’s activities. I am delighted that lots of you are enjoying the activities and it’s fantastic to see such excellent work.
Odhran, Denver, Alex & Shea have been busy on Mathletics this week. Denver, Alex & Shea have achieved over 5000 points, which shows fantastic motivation and dedication. Odhran has clearly been putting his excellent mathematical skills to good use as he has in excess of 10,000 points this week so far. We have almost 47,000 points so far this week, as well as a number of bronze and silver winners this week, so keep up the great work everyone.
Lots of you have been quizzing regularly and are making excellent progress towards those Term 3 targets, even at this very early stage, so remember to keep reading plenty & quiz often.
I was thrilled to hear that a number of our class are staying in touch by video calling each other regularly. I’m sure those chats could go on for hours and that it’s nice to catch up with your friends.
Lots of you have sent through ‘Communion Celebration’ photos already & we will be making a special post with all your pictures at the beginning of the week. If you haven’t already then please take a photograph of how you & your family are marking what should have been your ‘First Holy Communion’ weekend & don’t forget to tune into mass on Sunday at 11.30am, where Fr Tremer will give you a special mention.
Have a wonderful weekend & stay safe.
