P5 News
Primary 5 have been very busy since returning to school. They have been working hard all month learning about place value in numeracy, as well as learning their times tables. They have really enjoyed the historical story “The Salmon of Knowledge” and produced some fantastic diary entries from Finn McCool. Have a look.
They are really enjoying visiting the library each week and are working hard towards achieving their Accelerated Reader target.
Take a look at the fantastic autumn trees they painted this week. What a talented bunch.
Some of our pupils spoke about what they have enjoyed about being back at school:
”I have enjoyed being back at school and getting to play with my friends. I am learning my times tables. By Christmas I would like to know my 4x and 5x tables. I like going to the library and getting new books also.” Jayden Quinn
”I enjoyed learning about The Salmon of Knowledge and making my own Finn and Finnegas. I’ve enjoyed learning place value, I think it’s very easy.” Lily-Mae Mackin
