P5 had a very busy month with learning.
In Literacy, we completed activities on alphabetical order and plural nouns. We also used iPads to find interesting facts about the Blue Whale. Then we wrote reports using the facts we found.
In Numeracy, we consolidated 2D Shape and used mirrors to help find lines of symmetry. Next, created scary dinosaurs from 2D Shapes. We completed activities on Time using the Months of The Year and calendars.
In World Around Us we continued our theme of Food. We researched facts on various foods then we looked at the role of food in our bodies.
We painted some beautiful Autumn Trees using our fingertips. Then we decorated skulls for Halloween.
Well done to all in P5, especially our Pupils of the Week during October.
