The boys and girls from P5 are doing brilliant work during lockdown and I’m delighted. I knew they would continue to work hard, as this class has a brilliant work ethic. Many children are helping out at home using their gifts and talents and are busy brushing yards, cleaning windows, baking, practising music, and playing with younger siblings.
I received some brilliant reports on children’s favourite animals and sports. Lots of children are reading books and quizzing on AR, eager to reach their reading targets, and using Mathletics while practising the times tables.
Many children are getting outside in the great weather to pick bluebells, practise their football and camogie skills, help on the farm to do silage and plant potatoes as well as visit local historical sites like Corliss Fort.
