The boys and girls had a very busy month in Primary 7. The class had a visit from local historian Una Walsh. Una discussed the history of our local area, particularly focusing on our local townlands. The boys and girls used maps to find what townland they lived in. The P7s really enjoyed this lesson and learned so much about their local townlands.
The boys took part in the St Patrick's Armagh P7 school blitz. The boys performed very well in the group stages winning their first two games and narrowly losing to St Jarleth's Blackwatertown by a single point in the final game. The boys progressed to the knock out stages and got as far as the semi final stage of the competition. The boys showed great skill and determination throughout the blitz.
