Our P7 girls’ football team qualified for the Malachy MGeeney Finals day at the Athletic grounds, home of Armagh football. The team faced St Malachy’s Armagh for the medium schools title. The game was a titanic battle with the teams level after full time and extra time. The game was decided by a sudden death score that ultimately went against our team. Our girls played fantastically well in a game that showcased all that is good about football. Congratulations to St Malachy’s on the win and to our own team who were the first girls in our school to reach the finals day.
