One of our parents Louise Quinn volunteered to plant some seeds with our Primary 5 class. The seeds, wildflowers and compost were donated by Creggan Farm Supplies. Louise talked to the children about germination and photosynthesis. Then they planted sunflowers, dwarf beans and wildflowers in trays.
Over the next few weeks P5 will care for their seeds and watch them grow. Eventually the children will be take the seeds home and plant them in their gardens where they can watch the beautiful flowers appear.
