What a busy month we have had in Primary 2! We had two sports days, a Fun day which included a magician, a visit from Teresa Nugent ( Charlie’s Granny) as well as learning lots of facts about ocean animals after reading the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean’.
Teresa was telling us all about hope and she helped the class all plant sunflowers and nasturtiums in the poly tunnel. She give each member of the class a cuddly toy and a bag of goodies. Thank you so much Teresa. 😍 We also used chalk to draw our own Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh.
In maths we have been experimenting with shells and twigs to see if they float and sink. We have also been measuring classroom objects and using meter sticks in our outside play and learning about directions using Beebots on a farm Bee-Bot mat.
We hope that Primary 2 have a great summer and keep themselves safe!
