The emails and messages were flying in this week and the staff have been overwhelmed by the quality of work on display. We asked everyone to get baking and the pictures of all the fantastic bakes have made the mouth water! We also were due to celebrate all about books in school this week and many dressed up as their favourite characters or sent in pictures of reading in favourite places..staff included. See if you can guess the teachers dressed up or reading in the pictures below!

In Nursery, Finn Murphy for helping his dad with work outside. Megan Farrell was very busy with chores and her play and like Sophia Connell, enjoyed some baking with her big sister. Niamh Rooney was also busy in the kitchen as well as helping her big sister with poetry. Katie Duncan was busy on the farm and at the table with her school work. Sean Murray was dressed up in his Hogwarts gear for our Book celebrations.
In P1, Jack Tynan has had a super week. He has been completing all his school work and he also learnt to ride his bike. Well done Jack. Keelan O'Neill has been working hard at Mathletics and helping his mummy around the house. Katie Nugent has been busy with baking and helping to entertain your younger brother. Eoghan Shields also got into the spirit of our Book celebrations and has been working hard at his Easter activities all week. Emily Duncan has been a great help with her little brother and getting all her school work completed. Rubi Li Finnegan has been busy learning her high frequency words and baking and Ryan O'Neill has also been busy in the kitchen. As well as completing his work Ryan celebrated his birthday this week, Happy Birthday Ryan. Isla Mackin has been dressing up, baking and also going for lovely walks with her sister to feed two donkeys who live nearby. Dara Haughey has been helping his sister with baking and also took time to dress up as the Hulk for our book celebration.
In P2, Cian Donnelly has been showing his support for the NHS with his brilliant art. Eamon Dunne and Grace Murray went the extra mile for our book celebrations. Joe Quinn and Ciaran Conlon has also been helping outside as well as completing their work while Amelia Vallely has also been busy with her Maths, getting creative and baking. Frankie Toner has been working well by completing all his Easter activities.
In P3, Aimee Nugent has been helping looking after the birds this week. She has been keeping the bird feeders full and feeding the chickens. Lily Rooney was baking as well and wrote a great poem about the Coronavirus. Have a read in the photos below. Jae Finnegan has been making healthy meals and learning all about Ireland. Annie Mackin was great dressed up as Minnie the Minx from the Beano and is also a another star baker in the making. Gracie Toner is another hard worker who has impressed her mum with her efforts this week.
P4 pupils have sent in a variety of work this week. Kayden Loye has been busy working through his school work as well as helping down at the farm. Shay Donaghy has been working hard at Nessy online while Odhran Conlon has been keeping active on his bike. Tommy Nugget has been working hard with his schoolwork and has also fitted in some farm time and baking. Mae Quinn helped her family build a vegetable patch whilst Ella Mackin held her own Irish dancing championships as she due to dance in the Worlds this week. Ella also has been busy baking like Denver Rice. Denver is another pupil who has been helping at the farm. Senan McCreesh is another of our star bakers and he also has been getting lots of exercise. Ella Murray was able to display her love of Harry Potter with our book celebrations and Caela O'Neill has been very busy. As well as doing all her work and baking, Caela managed an incredible 11,000 points on Mathletics. Another one of our bakers, Caitlin Brennan has also been keeping in touch with her fellow P4 friends via FaceTime.
In P5, Liam Lennon has used his art to show support for the NHS as well as getting dressed up as his favourite book character to read in a very unusual place. Joe Donnelly has been experimenting with liquids. Maia McCreesh has been dressing up and completing projects on Egypt and Ireland while Senan McCooey has been working hard outdoors growing some vegetables. Niall Murphy has been writing Easter stories whilst Niamh Dunne was very imaginative dressing up as Matilda from the Demon dentist. Blinne McCreesh has been baking up a storm in the kitchen whilst aiming to get full marks in her spellings and tables test today. Amy Rose Haughey is another P5 who would not look out of place on TV's Great British Bake Off.
Meanwhile P6 have all turned into super cooks. Sophia Vallely has been busy in the kitchen and with her Maths work. Ella Rose Shields has been very busy in and outside the house...schoolwork, baking ad dressing up. Faye McCreesh is another master baker who baked up a storm in the kitchen. Aaron O'Neill has been up early exercising with Joe Wicks before getting stuck into his Easter activities. Jessica Farrell has been busy helping around the house and cooking whilst Ruby Quinn helped her younger brothers and sisters get their vegetable patch ready.
In P7, Gerard Conlon has been a great help to all parents by doing lots of chores whilst Cormac Murphy has been busy writing Easter stories. Sean Dunne was brilliant dressed up as Peter from the Famous Five as part of our Book celebrations. Amber O'Hare McNeice and Emily Connell showed that they like many other are budding chefs with their baking exploits.

For Heathy Eating this week, our winner is Jae from P3 as his Fruit salad he made looks so tasty.
Our good manners award this week goes to Keelan O'Neill for helping his mum around the house.
