Our P2/3 class are taking part in the Roots of Empathy project this year with tutor Teresa and baby Aedha and her mummy. The Roots of Empathy project involves a baby visiting a class over the course of the school year. The class get to see and learn all about the baby's development over the year. The pupils explore emotions and learn how to recognize them in the baby and in themselves. The programme has been running in our school for the past 5 years and our first babies to visit are now pupils in the school.
