Our P4/P5 class have started the new term with a mix of activities. We created a class code (THINK) so that everyone gets treated fairly and with respect.
In Literacy we began the Accelerated Reading Programme by visiting the school library to find suitable books for us to read. Then we made a Sacred Space Area and created some beautiful art work for a New Beginning and Memories of Endings display.
In Numeracy, we competed in Head-2-Head Facts competitions by revising our number tables in a fun way. Then we used lots of masking tape to put together a vertical number line to 100, to help us with our tasks.
Finally, we collated some happy favourite food plates for our topic of Food in World Around Us. As you can see from the pictures our classroom has been very busy - and its only September. Happy New School Year. We hope to enjoy it!!
