Literacy

During our Literacy lessons we have been learning about commas, superlative and comparative adjectives and plurals. 

Numeracy

In Numeracy we have been learning how to add, subtract and multiple millions.  We have also been learning about 3D shapes and their properties.  

World Around Us Geography

Our science topic this term is The World. We learnt that there are seven continents. They are Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antartica, Europe and Australasia.  We know there are five oceans. They are called The Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, The Indian Ocean, The Arctic Ocean and The Southern Ocean. 

World Around Us Science

Our science topic this term is Space and the planets. We learned that there are seven planets in our Solar System. They are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus. We learned that the Sun is a ball of gas, a year on Mercury is 88 Earth days and that Venus is the hottest planet in our Solar System.
