All our classes took part in our annual sponsored walk last week to try and raise some funds for our school sports coaching programme. Many classes headed to the St Patrick's GFC grounds to complete our walk and it fair to say there were many tired legs on the walk back to school. The effort was all worth it as we raised a whopping £2951 And €350. A tremendous total that surpassed our wildest expectations! Thank you to our school community for supporting us so generously and with these funds our planned coaching programme for all ages has been secured for the exit school year. Our non uniform day also raised £200 for the Brody and Cooper appeal, a great local cause that is special rot so many in our school. A special word of thanks to Aisling and Murray's shop who also kindly sponsored bottled water for all pupil on their walk.
