There was great excitement in school yesterday when the boys and girls arrived into school and there was 6 hens in the yard. Mr Gerard Donnelly (Marlena’s Dad P2) had brought his hens into the school and he explained to the kids how to care for them. There was great excitement when the hens laid some eggs!!
He generously gave each child a box of eggs so hopefully there will be plenty of cooking with these eggs over Easter!! Thank you so much!
